The Autism Clinic at Catalyst (TACC) is seeking a nurse practitioner to join our pediatric autism diagnostic team and neurodevelopmental clinic. The nurse practitioner will work as part of an interdisciplinary diagnostic team, including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, and mental health counselors, to provide neurodevelopmental evaluations and Autism diagnosis. The nurse practitioner will also provide ongoing medical and mental health support to those clients/families who benefit from working with practitioners well-versed in neurodiversity.
We use an interdisciplinary approach to provide holistic assessments with a focus on individualized recommendations and supports with the goal of helping all of our clients thrive, regardless of the diagnostic outcomes.

Responsibilities
- Conduct strengths based pediatric neurodevelopmental assessments including autism, adhd, anxiety, and depression
- Develop individualized support plans and recommendations in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team, therapists, and families, integrating evidence-based practices and clinical findings
- Evaluate the need for pharmaceutical support and provide medication management when appropriate
- Utilize electronic health record (EHR) system for accurate documentation of patient encounters, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Provide on going education and support to families related to navigating daily life, health, and wellbeing as an autistic person and/or a family with autistic children.
- Provide as need support for sleep, nutrition, and digestion challenges unique to neurodivergent people
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), or Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with current state licensure
- Experience working with children diagnosed with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric assessments, medication administration, patient education, and counseling
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Athenahealth for efficient medical documentation and patient management
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards for diagnoses and procedures related to pediatrics and behavioral health
- Excellent client communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines
- Specific experience in neurodevelopmental assessment or designation as a Center of Excellence will be considered advantageous
Pay and Benefits
- Full time or Part time position is possible
- $65-$80/hr
